in the Metaverse Case Study
ION was founded in 2013 by Beth Ingham and Daniel Navorro who by joining forces brought together two vital skill sets: Beth’s’ experience of management gained from years of running large scale company projects and Daniel’s knowledge and experience gained from working in the public health sector, which included 27 years as the Colorado Health Education Centre deputy director.
The business was extremely successful, however when the pandemic hit, ION, like most of us, had to shift gears and adapt quickly.
When the opportunity to host two events for the Colorado Department of Health arose, ION didn’t waste a minute. But as to any new job, especially in an environment that is yet unknown there were challenges to overcome.
Challenges

The Results
Both events for The Colorado Department of Health were a success.
This was a direct reflection of the overwhelmingly positive nature of attendee feedback.
The 3D avatars and lifelike gestures, the voice and video features as well as the ability to move and explore freely gave attendees a sense of co-presence and made the experience feel like a live one.
